Bachelor Degrees in the US are usually offered through a flexible system which is credit hours that allow students to study for their Bachelor Degree in a flexible mode.
The liberal arts system offered at American Universities allow students to choose from several elective and core curriculum courses for their area of study. Core curriculum courses are mandatory subjects to study for related to their major or area of specialization, where electives are additional courses of interest that could be related to a totally different area of interest; such as: Arts, History, Music, Economic, etc. Electives in arts can even be chosen by Sciences majors, allowing students from all walks and majors to have a broader insight to different walks of life.

Usually, the Bachelor Degree intakes start on September for most universities, but in some cases, there might be more than one intake offered throughout the year, depending on the university.
